New Moon in Libra, and 6 Planets in Retrograde!

Hello! It's been a minute since I've written a blog post, but here we are. Today we are talking about this upcoming new moon in Libra and the fact that there are 6 PLANETS IN RETROGRADE!!!! (It's a chaotic time).

Let's get down to business. Libra is a masculine cardinal air sign ruled by Venus. Libra is also represented by the scales, and its' associated tarot card is Justice. All of that to say... Libra is fair, aesthetic, balanced, and idealistic. Ruled by Venus, this sign loves beauty and anything aesthetic. Libra also seeks balance in all things! They lead by making sure everything is fair for all. Libra brings the energy of balancing the scales, determining where we are not in alignment, and how to rationally solve it.

This new moon in Libra asks us to balance the scales of our lives. What is currently off-kilter or not in alignment with our highest good? How can we balance the scales and raise our vibration during this lunar cycle?

I would also like to add that there are 6 planets in Retrograde right now. Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. That's a lot of backwards energy happening all at the same time... have no fear though! Aside from the odd technological malfunction and miscommunication, this energy won't affect your day-to-day life. Because it's mostly outer planets that are in retrograde (which are farther away from the sun and thus move slower than planets closer to the sun), their energies also move slower and are less noticeable in your daily living. Mercury Retrograde though brings in noticeable things like malfunctions or glitches in our tech. Mercury is closest to the sun and represents communication, technology, and travel. So it's recommended not to sign any contracts, or have any big conversations, as it is more likely you will be misunderstood. Also, it's not a great idea to travel during a Mercury retrograde (if you do, just expect some delays and maybe just have a carry-on).
