Full Moon In Aquarius Conjunct Saturn

Full moons have a great deal of energy to share with us if we are willing to harness it correctly. This moon is called the Sturgeon moon. A sturgeon is a type of fish which appears in number during the month of August.

This Full moon appears in the constellation of Aquarius. Aquarius is a Fixed, Air sign. Aquarius is creative, open-minded, a humanitarian, great at speaking/seeing the truth, dependable, dedicated, imaginative, and intelligent. This placement challenges us to see the truth about what is no longer serving us or making us happy. Releasing these things will lighten our load and allow us to focus on what we want to accomplish. You can't always be carrying the heavy things and it's okay to let them go.

Specifically this lunar cycle we want to focus on letting go of the things that are preventing us from being abundant. The Lions Gate Portal (August 8th) welcomes abundance to us but it won't come if we are the ones blocking it. It's easy to want abundance and think we are in an abundance mindset...or think that if we just want it enough it will come eventually. But in fact, that is the exact thing keeping it from us. The universe asks us to act as if we already have it and to do that we must release the things that are keeping us in this "lack" state of being. What is standing in your way? What needs to be released? Meditate on this for a few minutes and see what comes up for you.

Additionally, this full moon is conjunct Saturn in our night sky. Saturn brings in a bit of a chaotic end to something in our lives. Whatever we are releasing will be accompanied by the authority and magnitude of Saturn.

Release what is standing in the way of your abundance this full moon. Be grateful for how far you've come and how far you will go. Release the need to control, send it out to the universe and trust that good things will come.

Love & Light
